Guidelines
and Details for Submission:
1. Images:
Send 4 images in digital format. They should be already
scanned in a diskette (.jpg or .gif) or a CD (see image
specs below) or you may email them as attachments to
WEBMASTER
All thumbnail images will be placed on your gallery
pages and a large version will appear on a separate
page.
Image
specs:
If you have access to a scanner or digital camera and
a photo imaging program PLEASE send:
A large version of the image (.jpg), no more than 500
pixels in any dimension, between 50K-150K in size, in
RGB mode, 72 dpi resolution, cropped, sharp and clear
as you would like it to look.
A thumbnail of the image(.jpg or .gif), no more than
250 pixels in any dimension, between 15K-40K in size,
in RGB mode, 72 dpi resolution.
Name the images the same as the artwork, that is if
your art work is called FLOWER, name the images FLOWER
and FLOWERTHUMB, not IMAGE-1. Do not use spaces in your
image names.
If you don't know what any of that means, just send
the scanned images or CD and we will get them in the
correct format; it just saves so much time when they
are in the right format
If
you do not have access to a scanner, digital camera,
or imaging software:
Develop photos or slides of your work through a camera/photo
shop that supports putting your images on a CD or diskette.
A full service photo lab will also be able to scan existing
photos or slides and put them on a CD.
(Purchase a Kodak disposable camera that also includes
a CD as part of your processing.)
2.
Bio (required) and photo (optional):
Send a brief biography and also include a photo of yourself
and/or an artist statement if you wish. Send the bio
by email or as an attachment in any kind of electronic
format (Word, Wordperfect, Notepad, etc.).
3.
