Artist
Bio

Al was born and raised in New York State. Majored
in design and representation in high school. Served
in the Navy, then moved to Texas and on to California
where he took painting lessons from noted seascape
artist Arden Von Dewitz and Walt Disney artist Stod
Herbert.
Al
stopped painting in 1969 and moved to Las Vegas. After
retiring from the construction industry he needed
something to do besides golf, so, started painting
again in 2002. Now takes painting classes with Lois
Payne and Collin Pringle.
Presently
assistant gallery director of City Lights Art Gallery
and Co-op at 3 Army St in downtown Henderson and member
of Boulder City Art Guild Gallery in the Boulder Dam
Hotel.
Still
learning, and looking for that famous niche in the
field of ART!! I do hope that people find something
that they like in my art work.
Taking
pictures of the great outdoors, birds and animals
is also a favorite hobby.
